This following instruction will guide you to get started and created a new requisition on e-procurement application. Below are the requisition parameters to create a new requisition.

1. On the main menu select ‘New Requisition’
2. Requisition No , Requester, Financial Year, Department, Requisition Type are  (Automatic Parameter)
3. Select Requisition Type, Location, Currency, Priority
4. Select Budget Head
5. On Budget Head selection budget id, budget total, expenditure type, amount spent and available balance are automatic displayed.
6. Input general purpose of requisition- This will be the title of the procurement

Adding Requisition Items

Requisition items are list of items to be procured. The following parameters are required

1. Input Item description
2. Input Quantity (for item with quantity, input the value, for item without quantity, leave it blank.
3. Input Rate (Unit cost of item)
4. Click ‘Add Item’ to add the item
5. Repeat instructions above to add as many items as possible.

Note:

1. Requisition Total is automatically calculated
2. Extra budgetary is ‘YES’ if requisition total is more that Budget Balance.
3. Extra budgetary is ‘NO’ if requisition total is less that Budget Balance.

Action:

1. Save Requisition check box is automatically checked
2. Check ‘Send For Approval’ check box to send requisition for approval.
3. Click ‘Save Requisition’ to submit requisition.
4. Requisition will be submitted and send to head of department for approval.
5. If you are not ready to commit requisition for approval, don’t check the Send For Approval’ check box
